Resorts World Hudson Valley opens to the public

This week, New York's newest gaming facility officially opened to welcome the first set of customers. On the morning of Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2022, Resorts World Hudson Valley began operations with a special ribbon cutting ceremony and lion dance performance. This property is now ready to contribute to the community and Newburgh Mall.

The new gaming facility is located in Newburgh Mall, about 60 miles from Manhattan. The gaming area extends over 60,000 square feet, and provides ample amenities for our customers. The stadium features more than 1,200 slot machines and electronic table games, as well as a Resort World Bet Sports Bar.

To celebrate the grand opening, the game company invited Resort World executives, local elected officials, and local leaders to share the excitement. The grand opening consisted of a normal ribbon cutting ceremony and a traditional Chinese lion dance performance. Thus, it starts operations in casinos and brings new energy and excitement to the mall.

Meghan Taylor, vice president of Resorts World New York, shared that the company wants to make sure everyone is welcome at the casino and feels comfortable at home. We also planned to set up an entertainment destination where you can enjoy other premium amenities such as food and drinks with your family or friends even if you don't gamble.

Speaking on behalf of Genting America East, Robert DeSalvio recently commented that the casino at Newburgh Mall represents a shared vision shared by the company and its partners in the community. In other words, gaming destinations must attract hundreds of thousands of guests and visitors, while delivering benefits to the local, regional, and statewide economies.

The Resort World Hudson Valley is the newest casino property in Empire State's Genting America, with the other two being Resorts World New York City and Resorts World Catskills. And now the company plans to focus on transforming current casinos, such as Resorts World NYC (Resorts World NYC), into full-fledged casinos, rather than expanding into new properties.

Earlier this year, the New York State Legislature quickly tracked the issuance of three Downstate casino licenses, and the company's Resorts World NYC is one of the casinos in pole position.
